Hello Senior! is a non-profit dedicated to reducing loneliness in older adults by fostering life-enhancing social bonds through consistent telephone companionship. Our senior telephone service provides much-needed social connections which includes proactive wellness tracking and peace of mind programs for seniors and their families. By offering consistent companionship through phone calls, we provide vital support that empowers seniors to stay independent while giving their families total peace of mind.

I am R’chelle Cyrus, founder of Hello Senior! I created this nonprofit to address a challenge that seniors nation-wide face every day: Loneliness and social isolation. With this problem in mind, I developed a comprehensive program to specifically combat social isolation (along with all its associated health risks) among older adults, age 60 and above, who are choosing to live in place (at home). We do this by providing structured, relationship-based telephone companionship, wellness awareness, and supportive communication services that offers reassurance and peace of mind to seniors, famlies, and caregivers. Hello Senior! strengthens the emotional well-being of seniors while promoting their safety through early identification of potential concerns.
A Journey of Heart & Purpose
Hello Senior! was not born in a boardroom. It was born out of the love and concern for the three people who were the closest and meant the most to me. Through all they and everyone who touched them (physically and emotionally) experienced, I witnessed the devastating toll the complications that often come with aging can have on a person. These personal experiences resulted in heartbreak that sparked a mission.
Expertise Meets Innovation
What motivated me to launch Hello Senior! is personal, but its foundation is built on over a decade of professional experience. With a background in management, marketing, and public relations within the senior living sector, I have dedicated my career to elite standards of care and community engagement.
Currently pursuing an M.S. in Medical Sciences & Innovative Aging at the University of Florida, I have developed a strong desire to bridge the gap between traditional senior services and modern innovative aging.
